There are many seaside activities all along the coast
Bandol Beaches are 10 minutes away
There are many types of beach at Bandol. For those who appreciate white sand, there are The Grand Vallat Beach, Residence Beach, the central beach or the Renecros Bay, all not far from the casino. There are also pebble beaches, such as Engraviers, Capelan or the Eden Roc beaches. You also have access to the more natural inlet beaches such as L'anglaise or the Trou de Madame.
At Lecques, 15 minutes away, there is a shallow beach ideal for children. You can enjoy the sun on the sand beach or rent mattresses and pararols on private beaches. You can try scuba diving or snorkeling, wind surfing or “skitsurfing.”
Le Calanque de Port D'Allon.
Protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral, this little paradise of sand and pebbles has beauty and pristine waters, perfect for exploring or family relaxation. There is an underwater trail where you can dive and discover underwater fauna. The pines go all the way to the water line, making an ideal picnic area.
The Beaches of Sanary sur Mer
Near the port, there are a few narrow gravel beaches. There are also beaches in the direction of La Seyne, as well as small islands such as Embiez all along Sanary.
Or you can just sun bathe on the sands of the Mediterranean while watching the sailboats go by. Bathing is a pleasant experience in the warm waters of the sea.
On the beaches of Bandol volleyball can be played on groomed courts, and sailing schools have nautical sports. You can paraglide, waterski, rent a jetski or a boat (with or without permit) and discover the coast line from a whole different perspective.
Don't forget fishing on the jetties where girelles, marbres, bar and daurade fish can be caught. You can also cast your line on the coast line at the end of Bandol.
